"We contacted Mark Saunders Luxury Homes for consultation on and ultimate completion of significant modifications to our home. This included the installation of an elevator; the addition of a bath, closet, and utility room/storage; and renovation of an existing bedroom. It was important to us to retain the lines and appeal of the existing structure while getting the best possible accessibility and functionality of the elevator and any newly acquired space. They worked closely with us in all phases to accommodate our needs. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. The new construction, on both the exterior and interior, blends so well with the existing structure that it appears to be part of the original home. It was a pleasure working with our consultant, Rob Boyer; our project manager, Larry Boyte; and their team."

"After many attempts to find a design that both my husband and I agreed upon, construction of our new beach house in Dunescape began. Over the months we communicated by e-mail, and phone with Anthony, Jennifer and Rick, since we are almost 500 miles away.

With great anticipation we waited for the completion. We were not disappointed…. beyond our expectations the house became beautiful. The overall quality of the house is excellent, and the interior design is both elegant and user friendly. We would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent work and open lines of communication."

"Working with Anthony, Jennifer and Ralph at Coastal Construction was an absolute pleasure. Early on it became clear their focus was on meeting our needs and ensuring we got exactly what we had envisioned. Rather than the stress that we thought would come with putting up a custom home, it was fun. In working with Anthony and Jennifer, we saw our thoughts first transferred to paper and then to the actual construction. There were times during the design phase where we felt we just couldn’t get it right and were ready to settle. To our surprise, it was the Coastal Team that sensed we were settling and made it clear they would stick with it until it was exactly what we had envisioned. And they did!

Building a home when living in another state brings an entirely new set of concerns. Ralph was great; he kept us apprised of the home’s progress and was always available to answer a phone call or to meet us whenever we could make it to the construction site. He took our concerns out of the equation as we anxiously awaited the next set of photos. Now that the home is complete, we can clearly see that the craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail are everything we could have asked for. We had clearly picked the right team!"

"Anthony [Carr] worked very patiently with us as we created our dream retirement home. Living in New Jersey and designing a home to be built in North Carolina seemed overwhelming, but Anthony’s professionalism and hospitality helped make the process go smoothly.

In addition to Anthony, we also worked very closely with Jennifer Anderson, Interior Design Coordinator. She thought of every last detail and was very helpful with our color coordination selections, lighting, bathroom fixtures, tiles, carpeting and all other designs features. Working with Jennifer was Paula’s most enjoyable part of the building process. During the building process Ralph Lentini, Project Coordinator, Anthony and Jennifer kept us informed at every step of the project. Ralph sent photographs every few weeks at various phases of construction and called us often to suggest minor changes.

Working with Mark Saunders Luxury Homes was a pleasant experience. As first-time home builders we were guided through the process step-by-step with a minimal amount of stress. Our home was completed on time to our complete satisfaction. We were very comfortable working with the entire staff of Mark Saunders Luxury Homes."
